Fay Jones Edmondson House: A story of love and architecture is a four-part documentary series about the mid-century modern masterpiece in Forrest City, Arkansas designed by E. Fay Jones for Don and Ellen Edmondson.

The Architect
E. Fay Jones was an American architect and designer whose timeless work continues to inspire and captivate. Central to his design approach was the concept of organic architecture. A practice that emphasizes the integration of natural materials, forms, and light.
The House
Nestled on Crowley’s Ridge, on a 30.55 acre heavily wooded site in Forrest City, Arkansas, the 7,900 square foot Edmondson House is a masterpiece of midcentury modern design, considered to be E. Fay Jones’ most completely realized residential work.
The Edmondsons
Before they were client and architect, friend and confidant, benefactor and beneficiary, the connection between Don Edmondson and Fay Jones began as student and teacher.
The Legacy
The husband and wife architects have long admired the work of Fay Jones, since they were in architecture school together at Georgia Tech. With a combined 50+ years experience in modern architectural design and construction, the new owners are currently leading the restoration and preservation efforts.
